Sandy Honig is a photographer and comedian based in New York City.
She has shot for various publications including Refinery 29, VICE, The Village Voice, New York Magazine, and Vulture, and was a staff photographer & writer for Rookie Magazine. She was part of the "Rising Waters" exhibition at The Museum of The City of New York, a curation of photos from Hurricane Sandy.
On the comedy side, Sandy performs stand-up all over the city and is part of the comedy group Three Busy Debras. They make videos online and have written two full-length plays, one of which was performed at Carnegie Hall in 2016. (About their first play, about their second!)
She co-hosts the monthly variety show "The Bongo Hour" with Peter Smith at the Slipper Room the first Wednesday of every month.
Sandy graduated from New York University with a BFA in Photo and Imaging.
